The Double D Foundation Raises $160,000 to Support Youth Shooting Sports in South Carolina

On March 9, more than 200 people attended The Double D Foundation Banquet in Columbia where $160,000 was raised to support competitive shooting sports in the Palmetto State. Launched by Cindy Daniel in 2021, The Double D Foundation has raised more than $1.46 million dollars in the last two years to support more than 200 shooting teams and organizations in the south.

“Thanks to our sponsors and supporters, this banquet was an unmatched success and a great kickoff to our efforts in South Carolina,” said Cindy Daniel. “The resources raised will be used to protect our 2nd Amendment Rights by growing participation in competitive shooting sports here in South Carolina.”

The 2023 South Carolina Double D Foundation Banquet raised money through table sponsorships, raffle ticket sales, live auction, and an online silent auction that featured firearms, sports memorabilia, outdoor accessories, and more. The resources will be used to provide ammunition and supplies to competitive shooting organizations through an online grant application process. Money raised at this event will be used specifically to support grants for youth shooting sports in South Carolina.

The Double D Foundation Grants $600,000 to Support Shooting Sports in Georgia

The Double D Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c) 3, whose sole purpose is to protect the Second Amendment by growing the number of Americans involved in shooting sports, recently donated $600,000 to support the activities of seventy-five different shooting sports organizations in the state of Georgia.

The group recently organized a Roaring 20s Raffle that included a 1925 Ford Model T, a Colt Tier III 1911, and a Thompson 1927.

Started just last October, The Double D Foundation has already proven itself to be one of the more significant charitable organizations in the industry.

“In just over five months, we’ve raised over $1 Million in support of various shooting organizations throughout the state of Georgia,” said Founder Cindy Daniel. “I’m thrilled to now be able to distribute much needed funds to these very worthy organizations, schools and teams. Helping youth shooters be able to practice and attend competitions is very gratifying, but we know there is a lot more to do in this quickly growing sport.

“Please visit our website and be on the lookout for more opportunities to help us grow our sport and, in turn, the Second Amendment.”

Daniel Defense Exec Launches Foundation to Protect the 2nd Amendment

Daniel Defense Executive Vice President, Cindy Daniel, today announced the formation of The Double D Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c) 3, whose sole purpose is to advocate for and protect the Second Amendment, as demonstrated by its mission statement:

The mission of The Double D Foundation is to protect the Second Amendment by growing the number of Americans involved in shooting sports, who understand the fundamentals of firearm safety, and who share the core belief that the Second Amendment Defends the Rest.

“Today there is a tremendous opportunity to make an impact on young people and the greater shooting sports community. It is for this reason that I’ve created The Double D Foundation, a nonprofit aimed at defending the Second Amendment through education and growing the number of Americans involved in shooting sports,” said Founder Cindy Daniel. “With our country divided and uncertainty at its highest, our mission is critical to protect freedom and keep shooting sports alive. As the founder of The Double D Foundation, and as a mother, hunter, business owner, 2A advocate, and someone who just loves to shoot, I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.”

Funds raised by The Double D Foundation, from Founders Club Members, sponsor donations, and events, will go back into shooting sports initiatives through grants, events, etc. With hard work and perseverance, The Double D Foundation will introduce and teach America’s youth and people of all ages how to safely and confidently appreciate all that the Second Amendment provides. Most importantly, it’s imperative for all armed citizens to know that our right to bear arms has and will continue to protect our other God-given inalienable rights.

This summer, the Foundation plans to announce its inaugural banquet, which will be held later this year. To learn how you can support this worthy cause, please visit TheDoubleDFoundation.org.
